Board Meetings are held the third Thursday of every month beginning at 1:30 pm. *Please note the change in the meeting location. Beginning May 16, 2024 all Augusta Water Board meetings will be held in the Augusta Water Field Operations and Facility Maintenance Training Room, located at 846 Laurel Hill Road, Verona. The public is welcome to attend the meetings.

Board meeting dates for 2024 are as follows:

January 18
February 15 -Regular Board Meeting and Strategic Planning Meeting    *The Regular Board Meeting will be held at the Frontier Culture Museum in the Lecture Hall beginning at 9:00 AM. The Strategic Planning Meeting will follow.
March 21 - This meeting will take place in the Augusta Water Conference Room located in the Augusta Water Administrative Office
April 18  
*May 16 - This, and all future Augusta Water Board meetings will take place in the Training Room at the new Field Operations and Facility Maintenance building located at 846 Laurel Hill Rd., Verona.
*June 20 - The Public Rate Hearing will be held at 1:30 PM before the Regular Board Meeting.

The agenda provides a brief description of each item to be considered by the Board and its committees. Additional information is available for public review at the Augusta Water reception desk prior to the Board Meeting. Copies of individual items, including background information, are available through the Board Secretary.

Persons wishing to address the Board regarding an item listed on the Agenda or regarding another matter during the Matters Presented by the Public section of the meeting are invited to participate in the following ways:

  • Appear in person. Come to the Field Operations Training Room located at 846 Laurel Hill Rd., Verona and speak with the Board Secretary or the Board Chairman prior to the meeting to let them know you wish to speak.
  • Email Jean Marshall, Board Secretary at jmarshall@augustawater.com with your comments at least two (2) days prior to the meeting. Comments submitted through email will be noted at the meeting and added to the official Minutes.
  • Phone: If you wish to speak during the Matters Presented by the Public section of the meeting, please contact Jean Marshall, at 540-245-5032 at least two (2) days prior to the meeting to disclose your request for speaking and to leave a contact number. During the Matters Presented by the Public section of the meeting, you will be contacted at the number you provided for the Board to receive your comments. Comments will be added to the official Minutes.
